End-to-end encryption · Distributed transfer · Password delivery

Send files to people, not to a central server.

Create a share, set a password, and send directly from your device — no cloud upload, no account, and downloads you can resume and verify.

Use Cases

Made for files too sensitive for a cloud drive.

Design

Design Delivery

Send source files, asset packs, and final work straight to the recipient — no cloud drive in between.

Build

Build Artifacts

Share test builds, release artifacts, and logs with downloads you can resume and verify.

Private

Private Documents

Every share gets its own password — ideal for contracts, IDs, and sensitive files.

Remote

Remote Work

Deliver large files across locations, directly from the sender.

Product

No copy left behind. Just a file, a link, and a password.

LucidShare sends files from one person to another — not to a cloud drive, and not to a server that keeps a copy. The sender stays in control from creation to delivery.

01

Create Shares Locally

Select a file on your device. It is encrypted before it leaves, with an encrypted manifest, CID, and a fresh access password.

02

Separate Link and Password

The link and the password travel separately. A link alone cannot download anything — the receiver needs both.

03

Relayed, Never Stored

Files move peer to peer, through relays that only forward encrypted chunks. No relay, and no server, keeps a copy or can read the content.

04

Resume and Verify

Inspect, resume, and verify transfers, so large files still arrive reliably on unstable networks.

Security

Built so no middleman can read your files.

Only the sender and the receiver can decrypt a file. Relays only forward encrypted chunks — they cannot read the content, and they do not keep a copy. Because nothing is stored centrally, the sender needs to be online during transfer: that is the trade-off that makes the privacy real, not a slogan.

  • End-to-end encryption — only sender and receiver can decrypt
  • A link alone cannot download; a password is required
  • Relays forward encrypted chunks only, never store them
  • No account required, anonymous by default

How it works

Credits pay for downloads

Think of credits as download allowance. When you download a file, credits equal to its size are deducted from your account — a 300 MB file costs 300 MB of credits.

  • Only downloads cost credits — sharing is free, and the downloader's account is charged.
  • Only successful downloads count, at the actual file size; downloading again counts again.
  • Free 500 MB resets every month; purchased credits are valid for 1 year.
  • Failed downloads cost nothing.
